We delight in advancing the message and mission of passionate people through results-oriented writing — from the lawyer-turned-entrepreneur who needs a monthly newsletter to promote his financial coaching program to a university that needs copy written for an annual report. Corporations, individuals, non profits, magazines and others hire Philanthropology either on a project-by-project basis or on contract for regular, repeated work.

Our inspired objective is to earn a reasonable profit by creating image-improvement promotional collateral for entrepreneurs and educational products for businesses in order to donate funds to help military veterans.

Since the company was founded in 2005, it has expanded services, added a philanthropic component and changed its name. Philanthropology, as the name implies, blends anthropology with philanthropy to form a hybrid organization that's all about articulating the human condition — promoting you and your quest — while giving back to our community. For every dollar you spend with us, we donate a percentage of it to a nonprofit organization that helps U.S. military personnel who've returned from duty access resources they need. This is our way of thanking veterans for their significant sacrifices, and we're proud to support them in this way.

In addition to producing marketing materials for businesses, Founder Echo Surina is an award-winning writer whose work appears in consumer and trade magazines across the country. She specializes in travel features and people profiles.
