Training

At Philanthropology we believe the best volunteer and staff fundraisers achieve their greatest success working from clear strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors and prospects.

As successful staff fundraisers, we have led record-breaking fundraising campaigns. As consultants, we provide our clients with clear strategies to achieve their fundraising goals.

With decades of experience as teachers and trainers, Philanthropology’s faculty brings “boots on the ground” knowledge to the classroom. Our courses train students to become effective fundraisers within an interactive and fun setting.

Recent trainings have been offered at the Kravis Leadership Institute, Claremont McKenna College, Drucker School of Management, Emerging Arts Leaders of Los Angeles, University of Southern California, and the University of California, Los Angeles. We recently developed the first fundraising curriculum for the Getty Leadership Institute, a 35-year-old international museum directors’ training program.
